Our School Holiday Clinics are back in Dec 2011/Jan 2012 by popular demand. Our professional clinics are a fun, safe way for your child to learn how to play tennis while enjoying their school holidays. The clinics cover a wide range of tennis specific skills from simple technique drills for the very beginner to match play for the advanced. Some of the aspects of our clinic include team base games, coordination drills. So whether your son is the next Roger Federer or looking for a fun way to spend the school holidays come and enjoy our clinics.

Cheltenham Holiday School Clinics

  • Private School Holiday Clinic
  • Date: 12-16 December 2011 (5 days)
  • Time: 9:00am to 12:00pm
  • Venue: Cheltenham Recreation Club, Chelthenham
  • Cost: $125 for 5 days or $30 per day
  • What to bring: Hat, Sunscreen, Racquet and morning tea
  • Standard: Beginner - Intermediate
  • Christmas Camp 2011
  • Date: 19-23 December 2011 (5 days)
  • Time: 9:00am to 3:00pm
  • Venue: Cheltenham Recreation Club, Chelthenham
  • Cost: $200 for 1 child or $48 per day per child
  • Sign up 2 children at $180 each for the full 5 days or ($44 per day per child)
  • Sign up 3 children or more at $165 each for the full 5 days or ($40 per day per child)
  • What to bring: Hat, Sunscreen, Racquet and morning tea
  • Standard: Beginner - Intermediate

  • For this Christmas camp, In The Zone Tennis will be using modified courts and tennis balls at this camp to make learning tennis more fun and rewarding for kids.

    Children enrolled in this camp will be divided into 3 groups:

    • Red Ball
    • Orange Ball
    • Green/Yellow Ball

    The Red Ball level caters for children 5-7 years old who are still mastering the basics of tennis. This group will use larger, softer tennis balls on mini courts to get kids playing "real" tennis faster.

    Orange ball students are aged between 7-8 years and can be beginners or players who are beginning to learn some of the finer details of shot making. They will use softer than normal tennis balls on a 3/4 size court to promote good shot making and smart shot selection.

    Green/Yellow ball group are students age 9 and above. They are beginning to learn spins and how to use tactics to win matches.
